RESEARCH & TECHNICAL PAPERS
IGSB research supports the development, interpretation, and application of the G-Series Governance Standards. This section will host formal research papers, technical guidance, evidence summaries, and consultation outputs used to inform standards-setting and assurance frameworks.
The IGSB research programme is currently in development. Initial publications will focus on governance maturity models, AI governance assurance, institutional accountability structures, and evidence requirements supporting independent certification.
All published research will be independently developed, methodologically documented, and aligned with IGSB’s standards governance and conflict-of-interest controls.
• Governance standards evidence methodology
• AI and algorithmic oversight frameworks
• Board accountability and decision controls
• Assurance and certification research notes
This research bulletin outlines the International Governance Standards Board’s (IGSB) initial methodology for governance evidence expectations, review assessment structure, and institutional certification controls.
It is published as part of IGSB’s ongoing standards and assurance research programme, supporting consistent and defensible governance assessment across organisations.
IGSB research notes are archived under permanent DOI records via Zenodo, supporting citation integrity, institutional traceability, and long-term governance transparency.
